NEMA 7: SeniTec is Ready for Your Explosion-Proof Applications The SeniTec NEMA 7 and NEMA 9 enclosure meets the demanding requirements of the specifications, to be capable of withstanding the pressures resulting from an internal explosion of specified gases, and contain such an explosion sufficiently that an explosive gas-air mixture existing in the atmosphere surrounding the enclosure will not be ignited. The NEMA 7 enclosure is made from heavy-duty aluminum with a powder-coated epoxy paint finish to withstand the challenges of your hazardous environment applications. Included are options for mechanical and proximity switches, and a variety of mounting bracket and indicator configurations.
